Sport Mediation

Mediation is increasingly being used to resolve disputes in sport including carding and athelete funding, team selection, doping, respectful behaviour and safe sport.
We were fortunate to speak with Paul Godin, a Mediate BC Civil Roster Mediator and one of a small number of mediators worldwide who specialize in this area. Paul is one of the mediators for Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC), the national body that mediates disputes for Canada's national level teams. He is also a mediator with the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, which mediates international sport disputes, including those for the Olympics and FIFA.
Due to technical issues the conversation was split into two parts.
