As an experienced Chartered Mediator mediating world-wide since 2001, I apply an analytical interest-based approach to resolving disputes, from simple two party matters to complex multi-party multi-issue mediations. With experience in personal injury, insurance, professional liability, commercial/contract, agriculture, employment law, civil litigation, aboriginal issues, construction, sports, banking, tort, and other areas of law (trusts etc.), I mediate cases of almost any type worldwide. I have been appointed to multiple ADR rosters globally including: Mediate BC, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Lausanne), Toronto Region-Ontario Mandatory Mediation program, the Family Law Mediation Program of the NWT, ADR Chambers, ADR Chambers UK, Trinidad & Tobago Mediation Board, DIAND Aboriginal Land Claims, Ontario Energy Board, Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, Nunatsiavut Dispute Resolution Board, ICOM/WIPO Art & Cultural Heritage Disputes, ADR Chambers Banking Ombuds Office, & Financial Services Commission of Ontario (insurance).

Training Services: I also deliver practical skills-based workshops worldwide on mediation, negotiation, and dealing with difficult people through Katalyst Resolutions (www.katalystresolutions.com), having designed and delivered more than 400 such workshops in more than a dozen countries since 2001. I am a member of the executive of the ADR Section for the Canadian Bar Association (and formerly for the Ontario Bar Association), and have been involved in major bar association task forces on issues such as judicial mediation, mandatory mediation, commercial mediation legislation, employment law, youth justice reform. I am the author of the chapters, "Principles of Negotiation" and "A Practical Guide to Conflict Management System Design" in CCH Canada's text, Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Manual, and "Sport Mediation: Mediating High Performance Sports Disputes" in Harvard's Negotiation Journal, 2017.

I am also an investigator, currently on the roster of the SDRCC's Investigation Unit for national-level sports complaints.
