Family Roster Mediator Details

2003
I specialize in working with high conflict situations and facilitating durable resolutions in ways that will minimize costs, preserve relationships and promote independence. I have worked extensively with families, non-profit groups, corporations and government. I also have a lot of experience working across cultures and diversity, with multicultural groups and organizations and with marginalized and excluded individuals and groups. I am a member of the Police Complaints sub-roster. I also specialize in distance mediation using both web-based video conference and teleconference options.
I have been working in dispute resolution since 2003. I have certificates in Conflict Analysis and Management and Family Mediation from The Institute of Conflict Analysis and Management, a certificate in Arbitration from the BC Arbitration & Mediation Institute and I completed my mediation practicum training with the Provincial Court Registry Court Mediation Practicum Program in Vancouver and Nanaimo. I have a Bachelor of Social Work and I am currently completing a Masters degree in Community Development. I maintain a private practice and I am the Executive Director of a nonprofit dispute resolution centre in Victoria.
