Following my clerkship at the British Columbia Court of Appeal, I began my legal career at a large Vancouver law firm, where I practiced general civil litigation including corporate/commercial, banking and insolvency, creditors’ remedies, personal injury, and alternative dispute resolution. I am a member of the BC Arbitration and Mediation Institute and have acted as both mediator and counsel in mediations and arbitrations in a wide variety of circumstances. Prior to attending law school, I worked as a social worker in the area of child welfare, worked in the construction industry and was involved in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve as an Infantry Officer. In addition to my legal training and professional experience, I am community minded and have served on a number of non-profit boards. I am a partner at HHBG Lawyers which is an employment and labour litigation boutique firm in Vancouver. We have recently opened a Surrey location as well.
