Specialties: I offer mediation in person, by telephone or on the zoom platform. I offer two party or multi party mediation services.
I have significant experience facilitating multi-party dialogues and collaborative processes, small group and large group dialogues, navigating public policy issues, company-community engagement, as well as Small Claims Court, strata and property issues.

Areas of specialized experience for mediation and multi party dialogue process include: energy and the extractive sector, natural and cultural resources, sport, environmental protection, international development and peacebuilding, and social, health and education policy.

In addition, I offer tools to organizations that help to build collaborative capacity, to support participation in strategic planning and organizational development, and to facilitate citizen engagement.
As a Chartered Mediator, a facilitator, and a dialogue process designer, Sarah sees collaboration as a vital tool for bringing the voices of people into decision making on challenging issues that shape their lives. Sarah specializes in multi party collaboration and consensus building in social, environmental, health, energy, sport and extractive sector issues.

Originally from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Sarah is the founder and principal of a small consultancy, Daitch & Associates, and a Senior Associate with MASS LBP. Her business has delivered on mandates in cross cultural settings in Canada, the US, Europe and Latin America for sub national and national governments, for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), for tribal governments, NGOs and for Canadian sports federations - resulting in wiser, better decisions for the future on pressing public issues.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Calgary and holds an MA in Dispute Resolution from the University of Victoria; she is a Chartered Mediator with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada, a member of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada’s mediation roster, and on the facilitator-mediator roster for the Ontario Energy Board. As a member of Mediate BC's civil dispute mediation roster, Sarah has mediated property, strata and small business disputes. Sarah is an Action Canada Fellow (2013), and a former Canadian national team cross country skier, and currently serves on the Board of Nordiq Canada.

    Plus travel and expenses. Travel is charged at half the hourly rate.
    Reduced fees will be considered in certain circumstances.
    The parties will be billed for time devoted to the mediation at the agreed upon hourly rate up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled mediation; Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled mediation session will result in a $800 plus taxes fee, plus any and all out-of-pocket expenses incurred, plus time already spend preparing for the mediation as outlined above.
