Mediation Consultation, Pro Bono

I bring a broad range of skills to my mediation practice. In addition to work experience and degrees in both social work and law, I have extensive experience in the non profit sector in management and program development. In addition, I have experience developing and presenting workshops in conflict resolution and other topics.

After spending ten years in the social work field in counselling and program development, I returned to school to obtain a law degree. I articled at Alexander Holburn Beaudin and Lang in 2000 - 2001. After being called to the bar, I worked as legal counsel in the areas of employment and immigration and in a management capacity in the non profit sector. From 2007-2011, I was employed as the executive director and supervising lawyer for the BC Centre for Elder Advocacy and Support. I am currently working as a mediator in private practice. In my mediation practice I offer services for a broad range of civil and family issues. My mediation training includes courses in mediation and conflict resolution at the Justice Institute as well as graduate level courses in mediation.
