Willing to work with multi-party disputes. Able to provide mediation facilities.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science and my law degree from the University of British Columbia. I was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 2015. My wife and I have lived in Delta, B.C. since 1981 and we have three sons who live with their wives and children in the Lower Mainland. I have been a trial lawyer since 1981 and I have experience in personal injury, criminal, family, commercial and employment law. I currently focus on the mediation of personal injury claims (including ICBC), and estate and wills variation claims. I am a member of the Surrey Bar Association, the New Westminster Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of B.C. (since 1981).
I believe in community service. I am currently the President of the Surrey Bar Association, a Past President of Baseball B.C., a former Parks Commissioner for the City of Delta (13 years) and a former member of the Delta Police Board (6 years).
I am a keen baseball fan and I enjoy photography, skiing, and travel.
