Experience in a wide range of mediation settings, including governmental, work place, personal injury, construction. Also, I am a Chartered Arbitrator, and have arbitrated construction strata council, and family disputes. I am experienced in conducting distance mediations through Webex, or similar platforms.

I have been mediating since 1985. In that time I have mediated all kinds of civil legal and non legal issues. I am an experienced trial lawyer, specializing in Family Law for the last 10 years. Before that my practice included personal injury, insurance law, construction law, and contract disputes.

I have been on the faculty of Continuing Legal Education courses for lawyers and mediators, and was part of the team that introduced the B.C. lawyers and provincial court judges to the provisions of the new Family Law Act.

I am on the rosters of the B.C. Hear the Child Society, the Civil and Family Rosters of Mediate B.C., and the Okanagan Collaborative Family Law group.

I bring to the table years of experience as a mediator, arbitrator, collaborative lawyer, and teacher. I have kept my skills current with courses and training; exceeding the Law Society and Mediate B.C. mandatory training requirements by a wide margin each year.

I am a Chartered Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator with ADR Canada, and was part of the original team that qualified mediators for that designation.

I was on the team of the Mediate B.C. Distance Mediation Project, and participated as a mediator in both the second and third phases of that project as a mediator.
