I have significant experience in mediating complex multi-party disputes.

I have practiced law as a trial lawyer for over 33 years in British Columbia. The majority of that work was in the field of construction law and insurance defense. In 2006 I trained as a mediator and now hold the designation of Chartered Mediator from the ADR Institute of Canada. In 2016 I was inducted as a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, an association of pre-eminent mediators from around the world.

Having litigated disputes for more than two decades I know the value of a mediated settlement. I chose to pursue work as a mediator because I believe that there are few cases that cannot benefit from the mediation process which provides an efficient and effective means of resolving disputes.
