Prior to becoming a member of the Child Protection Roster (M.A.G.) affiliated with Mediate BC, I lived in New Brunswick until 1981 at which point moved to British Columbia to attend Simon Fraser University and completed a Bachelors Degree. While living in Burnaby for 19 years I had the pleasure of working both in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley with families in a variety of capacities including Alcohol and Other Drug Intervention Worker, Youth and Family Worker and Multi-cultural Youth Programmer.

In 1996 I relocated to Salmon Arm where I continued my work in the addictions field with youth and their families for an additional 5 years. My work experience with Family Justice and Life Skills Programmer continued to add to my knowledge and understanding of family issues.

The principal and belief that guides my practice is: "people working together have the capacity to be creative and generate solutions that can result in the resolution of their own disputes". My approach to mediation is interest based and child centered.
