I am comfortable assisting parties with special needs and those from varied cultural/ethnic backgrounds, as well as same sex couples.

I also have experience in distance mediation using web based video conference and teleconference options.

I have been a member of the Ontario and BC bar since 1990 and am now both a lawyer and mediator in private practise. My mediation style offers a solid commitment to neutrality and fairness. I am committed to helping families and social workers achieve their goals.

I am currently a member of the Civil and Family Rosters of Mediate BC, a member of the Child Protection Roster (M.A.G.) affiliated with Mediate BC, a mentor in the Court Mediation Program (Small Claims), and a mentor in the Family Mediation Practicum Program. I have been certified by Family Mediation Canada as a Comprehensive Family Mediator since 1998.

My combined professional background in social work and law allow me to bring a wide and varied mix of experience to the mediation table.
