Having grown up in Saskatchewan I graduated from the U of S in 1981 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1982. Over the last 40 some years my practice has been primarily in the area of civil litigation, in particular the areas of insurance and personal injury litigation, both plaintiff and defence. I have experience in foreclosure, security realization, insolvency and civil disputes of a corporate and commercial nature. From time to time I have also engaged with administrative bodies on numerous issues and have been involved at various levels with the Workers Compensation Board. At the present time my focus is on personal injury, major loss and catastrophic injury cases, most commonly, brain injury litigation. I have represented ICBC and a number of private insurers, appeared at all levels of court within the province and have conducted numerous jury trials.
