Combining mediation training with legal skills to move from conflict to solutions; completed the Court Mediation Program and Certificate of Mediation with the Justice Institute BC.
The recipient of the Ray Herbert award at U.B.C law school in 1992, I have practiced law since 1994, mainly in the areas of wills and estates, commercial litigation, and employment law. I have been involved in many community and arts organizations as a board member. I am drawn towards mediation as an alternative to expensive and divisive litigation, and also as a means to solving conflicts where litigation isn’t practical. Primarily, my interest in mediation lies in areas where relationships matter most, such as elder mediation, wills and estates, family business, workplace situations, employment law, family law, and conflicts arising in schools and strata disputes.
Encouraging meaningful conversations, greater understanding, paving the way towards practical solutions and better relationships.
