Standards of Conduct for Med-Arb Practitioners

Mediate BC in consultation with the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute has developed the Med-Arb: Standards of Conduct. 

This document reflects the experience of the joint working group, their review of published materials from various jurisdictions, and the feedback of their peers.

Complaint Process

Mediate BC provides a process to manage complaints concerning Registered Roster Mediators and associates conduct of mediations and med-arbs relating to the Standards of Conduct for Mediators and the Med-Arb Standards of Conduct.

The Complaint Process includes both an informal process where a complaint can be resolved by the parties and a formal hearing process.
