I offer mediation by Zoom to parties all over the Province, and have an office in Coquitlam for in-office mediations.

Called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1989, I have been practising family law for almost 30 years and mediating since 2007. A Law Society accredited Family Law Mediator and Parenting Coordinator, I have additional training, experience and skills in dealing with parenting concerns in the mediation setting.

With over fifteen years' experience as a family law mediator, I've developed a system to resolve things as efficiently and quickly as possible. My particular strengths are creating a calm environment for mediation, building teamwork between the clients, focusing on the needs of the children and building strategies for co-parenting, and facilitating creative and workable solutions for clients on other issues. At the conclusion of mediation, I've had more than one client say "That didn't hurt a bit."

As a lawyer, I can draft the separation agreement at the conclusion of mediation and can also process a joint divorce for the clients once that agreement has been signed, if both parties want a divorce.

My office has a large, comfortable boardroom with ample space for groups and a breakout room that's always available; it is conveniently located near the borders of Burnaby and New Westminster (a few minutes from Lougheed Mall). I'm also happy to work with clients via Zoom.
