I mediate virtually across BC and in person (in our Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford or Chilliwack locations) with clients only, clients and counsel and multi-party disputes. As a lawyer-mediator, I can draft separation agreements, court orders and Minutes of Settlement following mediation, whichever document is preferred in the circumstances.

As a Certified Family Mediator, I enjoy creating a safe and private environment for separating couples to problem-solve together. I believe strongly that, even in the face of the deep challenges of separation and divorce, people can still be their "best selves" and forge a way forward. Peacemaking work is done in the midst of conflict.

Prior to law school, I worked with families as a UBC chaplain and pastor. This rich background allows me to work with separating couples holistically, listening to their stories and connecting them with professional and community resources when needed.

My semester serving as an intern in the Provincial Court and one year working as a judicial law clerk in the BC Supreme Court allow me to speak into what a judge may do in certain circumstances. However, I also encourage clients (and their counsel, where applicable) to look at what is most important to each of them and work towards a creative solution that both can live with as they close one chapter and enter another.

My experience and training include working with high conflict individuals, assessing for family violence, helping clients gain insight into their defensive behaviours, resourcing co-parents and including the voices of children in the process, where appropriate.
