Velocity Mediation offers alternative dispute resolution using facilitative / transformative and restorative mediation techniques.
Clients come to mediation for separation agreements; parenting plans; family financial matters; and a myriad of other reasons to discuss, negotiate, and resolve the matter for all parties desiring a positive outcome.

Erin uses proven communication techniques to successfully lead multi-party, culturally diverse, and a trauma-informed mediation practice. She has strong legal advocacy skills gained from her extensive work experience at a poverty law clinic and believes in self determination to foster change. Erin works with a private family law practice in Vancouver. Since November 2020, she has been part of a legal team providing expertise on a Human Rights Tribunal matter with a successful decision for the team announced in December 2022. She has also participated in Indigenous restorative justice circles, Human Rights Tribunal mediation, Residential Tenancy dispute resolution, and Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal as part of her pro bono work.
Erin is a skilled legal field professional, advocate for human rights, and experienced business woman. She has her York University Mediator Certificate in Family Mediation offering the skills and experience you need to confidently mediate conflict and assess the family or business situation. She has completed the training requirements for the Accredited Family Mediator [AccFM] designation with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation and the Registered Roster Mediator [RRM] with Mediate BC. Family Mediation certification from York University is recognized by the Ministry of the Attorney General as qualification to work in the court system.

    Erin dedicates time up front to ensure clientele fully understand the mediation process and outcome. Velocity Mediation offers a no-cost 20 minute call with every prospective client. Velocity Mediation also believes that access to mediation and justice is premised on the principle that everyone, regardless of ability to pay, should be able to achieve a fair outcome of their dispute. “Pro bono publico” comes from a Latin phrase meaning “for the public good.” Our pro bono services include negotiation, mediation, and advocacy services that are available based upon evaluation of individual income levels.
