I am a lawyer and family law mediator practicing with over 17 years of experience in the area of family law. Through my practice, I have watched families go through a separation and divorce, in doing so, exhaust themselves emotionally and financially. The court process can be very expensive and time consuming and it can destroy families because of increased animosity and stress.

After the separation and divorce is complete, parents still need to talk about their children’s doctor appointments, attend soccer games and sit beside one another years down the road at their child’s graduation ceremony. As often as possible, I try to help parties separate without destroying their ability to communicate with one another for the benefit of their kids. I structure the session like a strategic planning session for your family. We keep it child focussed and future oriented, which allows us to focus on what's important and as a lawyer, I'll tie in legal information and guidance to help guide decision making.

I have been doing family law mediation exclusively since 2014. I've done hundreds of mediations with people going through separations. I have designed a process to help separating parties plan parenting, financial support and distribution of their assets and debts and because I'm a lawyer, I am able to simplify the entire process of negotiating, planning, and drafting the Agreement. I aim to have people through entire process, with a full Separation Agreement in hand, in about six weeks. An efficient process to resolution and agreement minimizes conflict and stress for families allowing everyone to move forward with certainty.
