Extensive business experience as a lawyer and entrepreneur and in dealing with conflict arising from divergent business interests.

As a lawyer, mediator and consultant, I help individuals deal with conflict. In my legal practice, I advise clients on how to structure their affairs so as to accomplish their goals and reduce the chances of intractable disputes. As a consultant and mediator, I help parties communicate and access the information that they require in order to resolve their disagreements. I have extensive business experience, and enjoy working with people to understand their divergent interests and facilitate the process for dealing with conflict. My formal mediation training includes courses through Continuing Legal Education and Justice Institute of BC. I have been mentored by very experienced mediators in the Small Claims Mediation Program and elsewhere.

I am also a husband and father of two young boys and find that I have plenty of opportunity to hone my skills. I coach minor hockey and sit on the Board of Variance for the City of Port Moody.
