I have assisted parties with the resolution of a broad range of civil matters, including multi-party disputes involving complex issues.
I am available to mediate most types of civil (non-family) disputes.
As well, I am available to provide training services.

For over 25 years, I have acted as Counsel in personal injury litigation and in that capacity, have participated in numerous mediations. I have significant experience in corporate governance in the non-profit sector through my work as a Director/Board President for a large charitable organization. As well, I am at ease with diverse cultures due to extensive travel around the world. Following considerable training, including at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, my practice evolved to include work as a Mediator. I have been a coach for students in mediation courses at the University of B.C. Allard School of Law. I served as a member of the Personal Injury Working Group of the Civil Resolution Tribunal. I was appointed and worked as an active Provincial Court Civil Mediator for 10 years. I also have been appointed as a Mediator under the Notice to Mediate (MVA) Regulation.

My focus is to enhance, in every possible way, the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution. When appropriate, I am willing to provide my thoughts on the issues to further assist the parties.
