I have significant experience in prosecuting, defending, and mediating complex multi-party disputes across diverse practice areas.

I am a Partner at a leading regional law firm with offices in downtown Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

I have practiced law as a trial lawyer for over a decade in British Columbia. The majority of that work was in the fields of wills and estates, insurance, disability, commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, general civil litigation and employment law.

I have my Chartered Mediator designation and serve on the Board of Directors of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia. I believe that an interest-based facilitated discussion by a skilled Mediator provides an efficient means to resolve disputes. A real opportunity to find a win-win result, rather than a winner-loser result through litigation.

I also have significant experience in corporate governance in the not-for-profit sector through my work as a director and board chair for a number of organizations.

As well, I am at ease with diverse cultures from my personal experience and extensive travels around the world.

Aside from work, I am significantly involved in community organizations and get personal satisfaction from giving back to those that do not necessarily have voices of their own. I am also busy with my wife of over 15 years and raising two young children and an energetic Hungarian Vizsla named Chase.
