I am a retired lawyer who is now a mediator, negotiation consultant and trainer. I was an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia Law School where I taught mediation advocacy. I am also on the mediator’s panel of the Insurance Dispute Resolution Services of BC, and a member in good standing with Mediate BC. I am frequently asked to lecture and/or serve as a panelist on the subjects of dispute resolution and negotiation; I have done so for the Continuing Legal Education Society, Pacific Law Institute, Federated Press, the Canadian Bar Association subsections for Dispute Resolution and Wills and Estates, the Trial Lawyers Association, the BC Notaries Society and the Wills and Estates Council of BC. I am a founding member of the Commercial Mediators Association and Cansolve Global Mediators. I work internationally as a negotiation consultant and trainer through ENS International, a global network of consultants in the area of negotiation and influencing.
