Civil Mediator Roster Mediator Details

2002
We are based in downtown Nanaimo, BC, and offer the following services to Central Vancouver Island:
Collaborative Legal Resolution
Family and Civil Mediation
Arbitration
'1-Day Divorce' Program
We also offer rental of Mediation Hub Facilities to other mediators, including boardroom, break-out room, waiting area, refreshments, and audio-visual equipment.

We also mediate Small Claims and other court matters across Vancouver Island where parties have requested mediation under a Notice to Mediate.
The party who wishes to mediate delivers a Notice to Mediate to all other parties to the action. The parties must jointly agree upon a mediator within 14 days after the notice has been delivered to all other parties, if there are four or fewer parties to the action or within 21 days after the notice has been delivered, if there are five or more parties to the action. The mediation must occur within 60 days after the mediator's appointment, but not later than seven days before the date of trial, unless all parties agree to a later date or one is ordered by the court.
The Central Vancouver Island Mediation Hub in Nanaimo offers family and civil mediation, civil arbitration, and collaborative legal resolution. We serve Nanaimo, Duncan, Courtenay and Comox, Port Alberni, Parksville and Qualicum Beach. We also offer the innovative '1-Day Divorce' program, which aims to resolve family property and children disputes quickly and cost effectively. Our principal lawyer and mediator, Nick Greer, has assisted in many hundreds of mediation since 2002 in Australia and Canada and is a Barrister and Solicitor, Mediator & Arbitrator on the ADRI Canada Roster, Mediator of the Civil Roster of Mediate BC, and Family Mediator under the Law Society of BC roster.

We also mediate Small Claims and other court matters across Vancouver Island where parties have requested mediation under a Notice to Mediate.
