I offer mediation, arbitration and "medi-arb" services as well as dispute resolution training, meeting facilitation. Services to corporations include mediation training and conflict resolution program development.

Extensive experience with residential tenancy matters.
With 5,000+ matters handled over the past 25 years I have the experience and broad knowledge base to help you, your organization or your community resolve disputes.

My mediation/arbitration background includes many years in family practice and over seven years as a mediator/arbitrator with the Residential Tenancy Branch handling landlord/tenant disputes. In addition to my work as a mediator I serve on a variety of Provincial tribunals as a quasi-judicial decision maker (administrative judge) as well as on the disciplinary panel of the BC College of Veterinarians. As an educator I have designed and delivered legal programs at the college level and served as a mediator mentor and coach for the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University as well as facilitating the Justice Education Society of BC parenting after separation program.

I studied at the University of British Columbia (Notary Public/Adult Education/EMBA). I completed mediation studies through the Continuing Legal Education Society and the Justice Institute. In 2002 I completed the Provincial Court (Small Claims) mediation practicum and was admitted to Mediate BC's Civil Roster. I hold accreditation as an Employee Assistance Program Mediator and am a member of Family Mediation Canada, a past Director of Family Mediation BC, and I currently serve as Vice President on the Board of the British Columbia Council of Administrative Tribunals.

I assist individuals, families and organizations with a wide variety of disputes such as: landlord/tenant, strata living, workplace, businesses/consumer, clubs, religious organizations and educational settings.
