I help parties communicate effectively with each other, and to explore and co-create lasting solutions to their disputes.

My litigation practice focuses on wills, trusts and estates, trustee/executor conduct and accounts, professional malpractice (non-medical), real property (development, subdivision, beneficial / legal ownership), third-party insurance coverage and commercial disputes, many involving multi-parties.

I have mediated wills, trusts and estates disputes involving executor conduct, wills variation, deceased beneficiaries, existence and validity of spousal relationships (domestic, foreign and predatory), blended families, inter-generational loans and living arrangements, tax issues, resulting trusts, undue influence, cultural issues influencing succession rights, foreign assets, and succession rights under differing statutory regimes. I am also experienced in resolving issues concerning Executor/Trustee Accounts.

I have assisted pre-mediation to resolve issues concerning the attendance and participation of non-parties at mediations, the disclosure of key documents for the mediation, and issues of confidentiality. I have mediated two-party and multi-party disputes, and a dispute involving a translator for a non-English speaking party.
