I am the founding shareholder of Pihl Law Corporation. Since being called to the bar in 1972, I have practiced in all Courts of the province with the majority of my trial experience being in the Supreme Court. I was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1990.
In the past several years most of my trial experience in personal injury has involved catastrophic injuries to infants as well as adults.
I also have extensive experience in construction litigation both commercial and residential, as well as General Insurance litigation.
I am qualified as a civil mediator and I am a member of Mediate BC. I have been asked to mediate on a wide range of issues because of my experience in many different areas of the law.
My personal background includes experience in small business, construction and retailing. Married in 1967, I have two sons, one of whom is a partner in Pihl Law Corporation. My wife and I are also involved in Thoroughbred horse racing as breeders and owners.
