I have had a lot of mediation experience as a lawyer for one or more of the parties. I have also mediated 2 party mediations and multi-party mediations.

I have been in the general practice of law for over 40 years. General practice experience, in my view, is invaluable to a mediator as drawing on that experience helps you come up with creative solutions to most problems. My experience, together with the extensive professional training I have received from both Continuing Legal Education and the Justice Institute of B.C. make me well equipped to assist people in solving almost any kind of problem or dispute. I was born in Saskatchewan and received a B.A. and LLB from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972. I have been in partnership with Richard Goluboff, in the practice of law, since 1979 at our present location in West Vancouver, B.C. My clients range from individuals to mid -sized companies and real estate developers.

    $250.00 per hour is my standard hourly fee for a two party mediation. For multi party mediations, my standard fee is $350.00 per hour. If the circumstances warrant it, my mediation fees may be reduced, however reductions must be discussed in advance and agreed upon in writing. A minimum rate of three hours at my hourly rate will apply to all mediations. The fee does not include the cost of the mediation facility if a mediation facility is not provided by the parties. Travel expenses outside of the Lower Mainland, including Whistler and the Sunshine Coast, may apply.
