I have been a lawyer for over 30 years with preferred areas of practice including civil litigation (both plaintiff and defendant), insurance law, and bodily injury claims (automobile and otherwise). I have acted for a wide variety of individuals, self insured entities, corporations, and branches of government.

I have been involved in mediation for over 20 years, and a member of Mediate BC (and its predecessor The BC Mediator Roster Society) for 10 years.

I have an "active" mediation style in which I work to understand each dispute as best possible in a given case and motivate the parties to assess risk and explore all reasonable paths to potential settlement.

    Fees are charged hourly for preparation and attendance. Travel time is billed at half rate. Disbursements are charged at cost.
    A cancellation fee may be charged if a mediation is cancelled less than two days before the mediation session is scheduled to take place. If I have other work to fill the gap, there will be no cancellation fee.

    Any cancellation charges assessed by facility providers are payable by the parties.
