I have been mediating for 21 years and have worked as a counsellor for 40 years. I have extensive experience in working with families and children. My solution focused approach builds on the strengths of individuals and families and encourages the development of creative solutions. My mental health and addictions training helps me to mediate successfully in the child protection field. I've done over 200 aboriginal mediations and a total of 500 child protection mediations. In addition, as a family therapist I have counseled hundreds of aboriginal families and individuals on issues related to mental health, addictions and residential school trauma. I have extensive experience in working with interpreters from a variety of cultures.

I have extensive experience in working colloboratively with Family Law files. I have mediated over 700 FRA files, am trained as a Divorce Coach and a Parenting Coordinator, currently sit as a Board member with the BC Parenting Coordinator Roster Society, have served as a past Board member with the BC Mediator Roster Society, have served as a key note speaker at the first Canadian Symposium on Parental Alienation and I work with families where a child has become estranged and/or alienated from one parent. I have been retained on over 40 files as a Section 15 evaluator.
