My path to becoming a mediator has been an amazing journey. I came to Canada in 2001 to start a new life. I arrived in Canada from Iran, a country that does not have a true state-sponsored social system, and I was passionate about helping people.

I began my career with the Ministry of Children and Family Development as a social worker in 2004. Working for the Ministry for the past 17 years, provided me with the opportunity for incredible growth. Throughout my employment with the Ministry, I have worked as a front-line social worker, collaborative practice facilitator, and a mental health clinician.

Since 2012, I have also worked as a psychiatric social worker at Fraser Health. In this role, I have gained extensive experience in providing consultative and direct services to children and youth who have been experiencing severe and complex challenges due to early childhood disrupted experiences and attachment injuries.

I am truly honored to be part of Mediate BC. I am so looking forward to serving the children, families, and communities of BC as a mediator.
