Mental Health and Mediation

Posted by mbcstaff

Conflict stresses our nervous systems and can worsen mental health and mental health challenges can also create or inflame conflicts. The cycle between conflict and mental health can be very challenging to navigate.

Listen to this interview with Child Protection mediator Kellie Tennant to learn she navigates this cycle to help people resolve conflicts and find solutions when mediation participants may have significant mental health or addiction challenges. She talks about self care and protecting your own mental health when you work with conflict or in emotinally demanding professions.
