Mediator Wins Gold in Turino!

Posted by Heverton.Oliveira

Congratulations to Colleen Cattell Q.C., member of Mediate BC's Civil and Child Protection Rosters, for her stunning success in the 2013 World Master's Games in Turino, Italy, last month!

Colleen wins goldIn addition to her legal, negotiation and mediation expertise, Colleen has resumed her illustrious rowing career (started while at UVic).  Her women’s quad team (racing in the 50 to 54 year age division) received a Bronze medal and her mixed quad squad won the Gold.

Mediators may use so-called "soft skills" but they are definitely not "softies"!  Colleen exemplifies the ability to be soft on the people but hard on the problem and her obvious competitive spirit shows that she is prepared to work hard to achieve her goal!

Well done Colleen!!
