Jani Award Nominations Are Now Open!

Posted by mbcstaff

It's that time of year when we invite you to send nominations for the Susanna Jani Award Supporting Excellence in Mediation!

The award was developed in 2009 to acknowledge a person who has made a significant contribution to the field of mediation in BC. We invite you to nominate someone who you believe most deserves this public recognition.

Criteria

To be selected, it must be shown the recipient fits the following criteria:

  • Made a significant contribution to the field of mediation in BC

  • Ethically and socially responsible

  • Devoted to the public interest, mediators, and mediation generally

  • Open and generous

How to nominate someone?

Send your nominations to tamara.ziemer@mediatebc.com  by Sunday, August 8th.

Please include:

  • Recipient name

  • A brief explanation of why you believe this person is deserving of this award, addressing the purpose and criteria for the award, as set out above

The Mediate BC board of directors will then vote to choose the recipient of the award. This year's award will be presented Virtually at Mediate BC's annual reception in September, date TBA.
