Child Protection Roster Mediation Details
I have been assisting mediation participants with designing parenting plans, plan of care for children and other family arrangements that meet the interests and needs of children and their family. I have also been assisting Parent conflict with or about children, re-organization of family after separation or divorce (custody and access), group facilitator.

Prior to becoming a member of the Child Protection Roster (M.A.G.) affiliated with Mediate BC, I lived in New Brunswick until 1981. I then moved to British Columbia to attend Simon Fraser University where I completed a Bachelors Degree. While living in Burnaby for 19 years I had the pleasure of working both in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley with families in a variety of capacities including Alcohol and Other Drug Intervention Worker, Youth and Family Worker and Multi-cultural Youth Programmer.

In 1996 I relocated to Salmon Arm where I continued my work in the addictions field with youth and their families for an additional 5 years. My work experience as a Family Justice Interviewer and Life Skills Worker continued to add to my knowledge and understanding of family issues.

The principal and belief that guides my practice is: "people working together have the capacity to be creative and generate solutions that can result in the resolution of their own disputes". My approach to mediation is interest based and child centred.
